How Can We Address the Challenges of Using AI Ethically and Effectively in Education?

What is AI? -AI is known as Artificial Intelligence, is a tools that are focuses on creating machines or software that can perform tasks that normally require human intelligence which the main purpose is to help human especially on their daily-life’s aligned with the passage of time. The purpose of AI creation is to help humans on doing their tasks in daily-life’s, work-life’s and so on such as on learning, reasoning, problem-solving, understanding language, recognizing images, making decisions, and adapting to new information. We all know that the AI are being used in many ways in a possible manner which help others so much especially for students on their education but what if there is challenges that can be see on the AI itself? What is the most possible way that we can see on the AI which can led us to how can we address the challenges of using AI ethically and effectively in education. There is three points that being highlight on these issues.

The first point about the challenges is misusing the AI on their studies. It was a major challenges especially for students to using it possibly ethically and effectively. These is because students are common to misusing the AI itself which can cause academic dishonesty and a lack of real understanding. It makes students hard to thinking independently (Alnsour et al., 2025). which can led them to not had a critical-thinking on their studies. To make sure that these problem not happening again, the students need to be more responsible on using the AI by not misusing it in bad way so that the honesty on their studies can led them to be succeed in honest way. Overall, the misusing of AI can led the students to not having a self-improving on their knowledge if these challenges can’t be solved in a possible way.

Second point is causing the student itself to be more dependent on AI too much. The dependent of the AI for the student can led them to rely too much on the AI when they doing the generate the answer, doing the assignment, the project and etc. This can cause the amount of effort and to thinking and learning independently be reduced. If is not being taken seriously (Yavich, 2025). It can led to the students being more dependent AI too much, which can led the increasing on depending of the AI leading them to not able to be successful without rely on them in real-world challenges. The dependency of AI need to be solve so that students itself can had the honesty on their works.

The last point is improving the studies by gaining the information. When the students especially using the AI in a way that is ethically and effectively, it can be address in a positive way such as the students are using the AI on access relevant resources, summarize complex topics, and explore new ideas, enhancing their understanding and supporting independent learning (Alkhawaja et al., 2025). This can guide them to use AI as a gather tools rather than a too much reliable tools which can led them to not had a critical thinking and reduced their independency. The AI can led students to gain more information and helping them to solve the problem if they use it in proper way.

Overall, the purpose of AI creation is the best thing that can help humans especially students on their education so they can gather and collect the information that can led them to increasing their knowledge. In conclusion, The AI gives a lot of benefits to humans especially students on their education.
The responsibility as students especially need to take serious on these so that the using of the AI can be use ethically and effectively. The improvement or recommendation that can be useful is that it need to be use in a good way so that the AI will not be misuse and it can help them to think and solve problems on their own, so AI supports learning without replacing their effort.
