AI has grown and is now apart of modern life. Resulting, an almost impossible thing to live in a modern society without encountering any applications powered by AI.
To address the challenges of using AI ethically and effectively in education requires treating AI as a tool, maintaining human interaction and establishing a law guidelines for AI.
When using AI as a support and not a replacement. It promotes student to use it as a tool to help them with their studies or research. For example, when a student is researching for their thesis report, they often found long and plain journals and articles that they might find dull. In this case, using AI helps them summarize the journals into simplified notes that assists the student’s work. In a nutshell, AI can assist with students work when they are juggling with assignments, making their work easier.
Secondly, students that use AI dehumanize reduces human interaction with their educators, which can affect the students learning and social development. Although, AI systems are efficient, cannot replicate the empathy, understanding and personal connection that human educators offer. For instance, lack of connection with their educators can influence thet way students’ engagement and motivation in learning. Therefore, maintaining a good relationship with your educators can not only academic instruction but also emotional support and mentorship. In conclusion, relying more on educators are more beneficial and healthier than AI.
Lastly, the lack of comprehensive guidelines and laws addressing AI ethics in education, making it hard to ensure that AI tools are used responsibly. Without the regulation, this can lead to inconsistent practices, leaving students and educators at risk towards privacy violations, or unwanted harm caused by the systems. In other words, AI is able to breach the data and security of any institution that can ruined the institution’s reputation. In conclusion, establishing a clear and solid guidelines can reduce the amounts of risk and harm to any institutions.
In short, AI can be helpful but also harmful towards our lives. However, we can never really escape from AI. So, we should use AI ethically to avoid any harm in the future. Therefore, students and educators should always follow ethical guidelines, treating it as a tool, and always maintaining a good relationship between educators and students in the future of AI.

At first, academic misconduct and academic integrity are issues of importance to academic students. Artificial intelligence can make plagiarism and unethical academic behaviour easier. Base on article ScienceDirect by Himendra Ballale, Ai tools can also be a risk on both sides to the facilitating academic misconduct. Plagiarism is become primary component after getting in ai, which is in negative impacts ai can make cheating and unethical academic behaviour easier, raising concerns about upholding standards. Solution for this problem is we can establish AI usage guidelines for student’s. Educational should edify what type of ai that allowed to use and what constitutes academic misconduct. Example university can make permit to the AI for grammar checking but prohibit to use fully generate. Student also should declare how their use AI and what was there used. In conclusion, AI give multiple benefits for student’s to their learning but it can threaten academic misconduct and integrity.
Furthermore, Nowadays students over independently on artificial intelligence instead of their critical thinking and learning skills. In my opinion too much relying on AI can weaken students independent thinking, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ai should be supportive learning to the students rather than substitute effort, ensuring that students remain engagement learners. Generate AI is a sources for student’s not a replacement, lecture can encourage them to use ai for guidance, ideas and feed while do learning process. Example lecture can allow students to use AI to develop language or suggest ideas but they must jog down their words.Students tent to over-trust AI advice when it’s misleading which can lead to worse decision outcomes. Lastly, ai platforms may collect privacy data through extensive student data collection, risking breaches, surveillance and misuse. Students will blindly trust on ai systems to submit a privacy data on the platform which is it risking on their privacy. Ai gathering amount of personal, habits, academic data and it raising their risk of unauthorised access. For example, ai tracking their habits and keystrokes to detect on plagiarism to collect more data than unnecessary. Ai can collect the data for commercial uses, such as targeted advertising for their companies.
In conclusion, the collection of students privacy by AI getting serious for privacy risk. Stealing privacy data by AI becomes challenges of using AI ethically and effectively in education. AI can enhancing engagement to the learning, and it must not be replacement for their learning skills and critical thinking. We can using AI as a source of learning and studying rather than a shortcut to students to make their assessment.
