Traditional Face, to, Face Classroom Promotes Better Learning Environment

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” This quote points out how important a good learning environment is for students to shape their future. Although there are many alternatives to traditional classroom, face, to, face classrooms still play a major role in education, and I personally agree that they provide a better learning environment than other methods of learning.

The most important advantage of face, to, face classrooms is probably the direct interaction between teachers and students. While attending a class physically, students can instantly ask questions and get answers with complete clarity. Besides, teachers can tell from the students’ faces and gestures whether they are confused or don’t understand what is being taught. Getting the students’ understanding checked on the spot enhances their learning and also keeps them attentive during the lesson.

Another point worth mentioning is the cultivation of social and communication skills among learners. In face, to, face learning, students not only talk in the class but they also do group works which provide them an opportunity to know each other and also engage people coming from different background. Such engagements allow students to develop skills such as self, confidence, team spirit, and tolerance of others’ views. These social skills are very important not only for the students’ academic performance but also for their future work life.

Nevertheless, traditional classrooms are not without their disadvantages. One such disadvantage is that they are not flexible with time and location. The students are required to be present at the class sessions as per

  1. This discursive essay shows good content, as it clearly highlights the advantages of traditional face-to-face classrooms, such as direct teacher–student interaction and the development of social and communication skills, supported with relevant examples; however, the discussion of online learning and disadvantages is incomplete. Language is generally clear, with appropriate vocabulary and mostly accurate grammar, though the frequent use of commas in “face, to, face” is incorrect and slightly distracting. Organization is strong, with a clear introduction, well-developed body paragraphs focusing on specific advantages, and a logical flow, but the essay ends abruptly before fully discussing disadvantages and providing a conclusion. Overall, it is a coherent and focused essay that would benefit from completing the argument and correcting minor language errors.
