TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM VS ONLINE CLASSROOM

In Malaysia, mostly want to follow oversea learning such as online classroom. Today, the world has change to technology era where they need to work faster and more efficiently supposing face-to-face learning looks traditional. However, there are two different views related with face-to-face learning. Mostly student really love online class, so they don’t need to prepare especially in the morning and continue to sleep. Face-to-face classroom has become effectiveness advantages for students when they attend to the physical classrooms. However, it is also the key of victorious in one’s life.

Discipline can build student to growing up and make them to become professional students. It will give effectiveness to student to come to the class on time so that they will not miss the class. The lecturer also easier to take attendance of the student. This issue also determined us the student can show the progression every week no matter how long class during it in 1 hour or 2 hours. This issue also related with how to manage time among students.

Knowledge help student to improve skills and make assignment or exercise. When student come to class in physical class, they can try directly in front of lecturer. For example, in subject 3D, the lecturer will show the tutorial how to create the model in Adobe Maya where to create the model it this subject. When student don’t understand or forgot how to do, the lecturer will repeat and show it again and make it together. It’s difficult to student when they not understanding and not focus.

Sometime, student will late into to the class because of time or late awake especially when the class starting in the morning. When they late to the class, of course student will book the grab and need to acquire cost such as public transport. When student awaken late, they will rush to prepared everything such as iron clothes, breakfast before to the class or keep laptop into the bag pack. Based on the points, it will give affective on their attendance when they are not attendance to the class, and they will refuse from university.

Flexibility help student to build stamina and active student in performance. There is no choice for student with respect to face-to-face learning or the student will miss the classed or don’t get enough structure to do assignment and learning. Timings of classes have to be strictly followed by the student where they don’t any choice to choose. For the example, the pupil had a class on 2 evening and also need to submit the assignment hardcopy to his lecturer and at the same had a meeting to choose as a President in Club Dancer. Student face difficulties balancing their part time jobs, hobbies and classes at the same time. It also made student miss the boat.

After considering the different point of view and supporting evidence, face-to-face learning looks traditional? Although face-to-face classroom look traditional or classic, there are advantage that we can learn and make the student hard-working. Face-to-face learning taught student to sacrifice in study so that it can be history when they are success. Online class also has advantage to student where they can improve their skills and change the world to advance in the future. Education and hard-working is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it.
