Hi , the issue that I have gone through during practical is I didn’t have a good work life balance. So basically I went to work from 9-5 and after that I had taekwondo training for Sukipt 2024 which made me so tired and didn’t have time for myself which made me sleep late because of scrolling tiktok for my me time. Sleeping late plus with tiredness of the training really burned me out throughout the entire 3 months.
During my practical training, I experienced a lack of task variety in the workplace. I was required to repeat the same tasks for several weeks, even after requesting different work. This made it difficult to record diverse activities in my logbook. Although I received new tasks later, the work was still repetitive.
Daily tasks are not consistently assigned to the interns. We need to approach the management team because the unequal distribution of task. As a result, work continuity and productivity are affected.
When asking about the current issues in the Workplace that i been read and even experienced before, most commonly the usual issues that always happen is the toxic environment among the co-workers. This is apparently happen because of the culture among the co-workers that had some attitudes that wants to create the environment that has a negative culture and even behaviors, for example poor communication, lack of respect, gossiping, unhealthy competition, and unwillingness to cooperate become common among colleagues. This can affect the employees mental health if there is no actions be taken to solve these current issues that i been read and even experience before.
During my practical, I experienced about time management. I was assigned multiple tasks at the same time, which made it difficult to meet deadlines. With guidance from my supervisor, I learned how to prioritize my work. This helped me become more organized and efficient.
The current issue within the workplace that I have experienced is long forced labor, which is considered as a form of exploitation. As an intern, I was required to push more time and work than just a regular worker. There were times when I had to remain in the workplace until midnight to finish a job. Resulting both my well being and work life balance were imbalance.
A common workplace issue is poor communication between employees and management. When expectations are not clearly explained, tasks are often misunderstood or done incorrectly. These issues highlight the need for transparent management and supportive management and employees.
One current workplace issue I have observed during practical is unequal treatment and favoritism. Some coworkers were treated nicely and positively more than others, even when their are in the same department. This might makes him feel isolated because he is being ignored. Hence, favoritism can harm teamwork and overall morale in the workplace.
assalamualaikum , one issue that I notice in my workplace revolves around micromanagement, a boss who lacks trust and insists on controlling every tiny detail of your work. Instead of giving you a goal and letting you reach it, they watch over your shoulder, demand constant updates, and tell you exactly how to perform every step. This behavior creates a stressful environment because it makes you feel like you aren’t trusted or capable, which eventually kills your creativity and makes you lose interest in the job.
During my internship, I noticed some of the seniors were neglecting their jobs and delegating them to juniors. I have seen instances where interns had to take on more work because the senior neglected their duties. The junior employees felt more stressed and that the job distribution was unjust as a result. Thus, it hindered collaboration and decreased total output.
