    -Children are becoming more and more time online- in social media, apps, games and virtual classes- which has left them at risk to cyberbullying, inappropriate materials, predators, scams and misinformation.

    -Many parents do not know how to track the activity of their children online, select content and the specifics of safe Internet use.

    -Digital platforms tend to go on in a non-transparent and unaccountable manner, subjecting children to unmonitored and uncontrolled risk in terms of contact, content, conduct, and commerce.

    Three Causes:

    -There is better online communication and trust between the family members since children feel free to share their problems and struggles and parents are better informed and involved.

    -Children become more resilient and rational, which allows them to perceive and cope with online threats better, e.g. they understand to recognize phishing or misinformed content, unhealthy relationships.

    -Societies as a whole will have a better online space, experiencing less cyberbullying, enhanced privacy of information, and overall and unity in partnership between parents and schools and organizations within the community.

    -Both adults and children may struggle to tell what information online is true, which can lead to confusion.
    -Overuse of digital devices without supervision can negatively affect children’s behavior, sleep, learning, and mental health.
